Silver ended lower holding on to losses after data showed that retail sales in the U.S. rose unexpectedly in April
Core retail sales, which exclude automobile sales, fell by a seasonally adjusted 0.1% last month, in line with expectations.
Official data released earlier showed that industrial production in China rose 9.3% in April, below expectations for a 9.5% increase
Silver is trading below 50DMA, which is at 49336, with intraday support seen at 44627 and resistance at 45585.
