Gold trading range for the day is 25885-26917.
Gold ended lower as a record rally in U.S. equities and economic optimism undermined bullion's safe-haven appeal.
A pause in strong physical demand after news India restricted imports to cut trading deficit also weighed on gold.
SPDR Gold Trust said its holdings fell 0.43 percent to 1047.14 tonnes from 1051.65 tonnes, their lowest since March 2009.
