Crude trading range for the day is 5159-5285.
Crude oil dropped weighed by a stronger dollar and a drop to an eight-month low in oil demand in China.
IEA will release its monthly supply and demand outlook after OPEC last week increased its outlook for 2013 demand.
Renewed worries of a slowdown in demand growth from the world's top oil consumer the U.S. also limited gains.
Crude is holding with a support at 5159 and resistance will be likely at 5285.
